Well heres the story: Grandparents gave me thier AMD Duron Compaw Presario 700 Laptop right. Well the only reason was because it was fried; their cat spilled water on table and it seeped inside and fried the mobo.

Compaq wanted $900 for motherboard replacement. So I stripped it and now have a nice 14.4" LCD Display in which I would like to convert and use as a dual monitor or another purpose if possible. If anyone is interested their will be some method of payment for their work!

Contact earthLCD.com with the dislpay information and they will be able to match up the hardware you need to convert it into a second dislpay or for automotive use or...

GL with your project.

You got the schematic to my cryo comporessor?

Earth LCD is your best bet atm, unless someone else has tinkered with your model of laptop which is most unlikely.

HP/Compaq have nothing on Pinout for a Presario 700 Notebook LCD Screen. Anyway to manually test it?
