Raw Materials Aluminium and Acrylics

Where do you guys buy your aluminium stock and what are some of the average prices you pay for 1/16 1/8 and 1/4 thick sheets or bars/rods of different sizes?

Also, where do some of you get your custom mill work and laser cutting done?

you can usally call any local place that sells aluminum and ask if they sell sheets of aluminum or whatever your looking for

For what I know, some areas don't have shops that sell metals for miles...and if they do they have crap prices :( As for acrylic, home depot and orchard supply hardware have tons of it.

not sure what your location is, but TAP Plastics (http://www.tapplastics.com/) is awesome for plastic, and they will cut/fuse most anything for you.
