New Corsair Memory series...?

Hello
I have been seing som new "yellow" seris of Corsair memmory that come in PC6400 speed sin 1Gb\2Gb and 4gigbyte kits, there is also a yellow dominator version, does anyone what ic´s they are?

I dont think there have been any Dominator for the 6400 series?
those heatspreaders and such, are the dominator style.

and perhaps, they are having diffrent colors for diffrent speeds?

These are "mid-range" parts without Micron ICs. Basically it's going to come down to:

Dominator - High speed parts only
XMS (w/DHX) - Good performers but cheaper than Dominator
XMS - Good performers without the DHX heatsinks

Pretty soon Dominator will be Micron-only, which means that the 6400C4D (the only dominator not currently based on Micron) will become the 6400C4DHX (silver DHX heatspreaders, no dominator logos) so people can differentiate better.

There was a lot of confusion about the 6400C4D and whether it was Micron-based or not, so we listened to the community and decided to make it easier for you to tell.

For those wondering, aside from the color of the heatspreaders and stickers, the 6400C4D and the 6400C4DHX are the same module, which is PROMOS based.

If it's high-end Micron parts, it's in Dominator (black heatsinks) only right now.

Excellent call on this :), quite impressed you guys went ahead and changed them like that. Heh makes it easier for people to differentiate now so there wont be anymore confusion/problems.
