P4C SATA raid performance?

I've heard the IDE raid on the P4C deluxe is very very poor and has something wrong with it.

is this the same for the SATA raid on the P4C800 deluxe? or is the SATA raid perfectly ok and the problem just with the IDE?

This will explain ALL the problems with the SATA RAID on the board. It's a long thread, but all reall good reading if your really interested.
