Hi!

I konw i have asked about this before, but i just got so insecure now.

I have a fitting whit 1/2 pipe thread (thats 19,172mm in diameter). Will it fit in a G1/4 threaded hole?

There's a reason why G 1/4 or BSPP 1/4 is "1/4"". 3/8" is even a lot bigger than 1/4", and the openings are not 1/4" and 3/8" respectively. 3/8" pipe threads are almost 3/4" wide...

Definitely not 1/2 NPT without several adapters.

You could, however, use 1/4 NPT with one of these adapters:
G1/4 BSPT to 1/4 NPT Adapter (http://www.highspeedpc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=BSPadaptor&Category_Code=Fitting)

Not sure if you're using G1/4 BSPP or BSPT.

Once you know, you might want to see this reference for the difference between BS tapered and parallel threads as well as NPT.
Pipe Thread Types and Designations (http://www.colder.com/Downloads/NPT.pdf)

its just some plumbing terminology G1/4 (US) BSP/BSPP (UK) these are parallel threads.

So G1/4 is the same as 1/4 BSP
And G1/2 is the same as 1/2 BSP ?

for more info on thread type, try mcmaster-carr catalogue page 2 and 3
http://www.mcmaster.com/

NPT and BSPP are not exactly the same, just for our watercooling purposes, they are quite compatible:
well for most of your watercooling threads and fittings this is a good read:

Well, i have 3/8" and 1/2" fittings, so that means that there is just 2 radiators that works for me, Thermochill, and swiftec.
