Hey bro, I just got a FPO/BATCH # L640A823 and OC'ed it to 3.0 GHz with a vcore of 1.335v. I fold 24/7 with the chip and so far so good. My other E6600 FPO/BATCH # L632B444 is OC'ed to 3.2 GHz with a vcore of 1.40v, it runs about 1c hotter at about 21c idle and 33c load, ambient about 21c. I use a dual boot on all my machines, but spend most of my time in Ubuntu 64 6.10. (Orthos doesn't work in Linux, besides that I think SMP folding puts as much strain on the rig as Orthos)

Thanks for the info. I just got tired of trying to find that golden chip L629B, just not worth it. If i can get 3.2-3.6 stable and cool ill be a happy camper.

Tankguys is suppose to be getting a few L629B's in this week. Don't give up though. I found some golden L628B194's last year. Everyone of them hit 4 Ghz except the one I have yet 2 open.

I had one of those... Did 3.7-3.8GHz stable on air, 4.4GHz under Vapo LS 3DMark stable. Sold it though.

I haven't seen a single E6600 that doesn't do 3.4GHz btw.
