I live in the US. I can find these Shin-Etsu products (http://www.crazypc.com/products/thermal_interface_materials.html) for sale, but not this MX-1 that's frequently mentioned on the XS forums. I tried EBay, but have not found anythng. Can someone post a link to an online source for this TIM. Can someone also post some specs on these products? What's the best way to apply these products? The old 1/2 grain of rice in center of cpu and seat HS on top or apply to the entire cpu IHS with a razor / credit card?

From what I have read on this forum is that the G751 and the others are not conductive and not capacitive. Newegg has the G751 for ~$5 / 1g tube, but it's out of stock. It's resold by a company called MassCool.

Thanks.

Thanks, I mistakenly thought that MX-1 was made by Shin-Etsu. I didn't realize that it's made by Arctic Cooling. Reading MX-1's product description (http://www.petrastechshop.com/arcomxthco.html), it states that it hardens after 200 hours. How difficult is to remove a HS after MX-1 has hardened?
