Hey

How can you speeding up your .torrent file downloads? I'm running a slow DSL connection using Azureus; I've heard of opening ports but how do i go about doing that?

Thanks :lsfight:

Get uTorrent.

Increase maximum number of global connections and increase maximum number of peers per torrent. Limit global upload slots (not too much) and upload speed (more important on cable than dsl).

ya Azureus is very bad since it needs java to run

and let ur upload speed be not more than 50% of ur DSL upload speed

Cool, Cool Thanks

I got uTorrent running and DL'ing some torrents now. Any suggestions on what port to use and if i should "randomize" every start up?

How do i get my router and uTorrent ports to match up/forward out?
