can someone help me with posting screen shots? I need a URL to save to.

If you start a thread or if you press the post reply button at the bottom right of a thread. You will open a window with an option at the bottom to "Attach file" simply hit the browse button and select the file you wish to upload from you hd.

I hope that is what you were asking ?? if not what ?

saaya go to your user cp, then edit options, and make sure you have Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts? enabled

saaya, don't use the "post reply" box at the bottom of the page when replying. It doesn't give you the option to browse your hard drive. Instead, hit the "post reply" button at the end of the thread (or the "quote" button for the thread you want to quote). You should then get a screen that looks like the attached. Notice the part I have circled in red. That is where you hit the "browse" button and can then upload images from your hard drive.

attaching is not a option in my forum rules it says "you may not post attachments" why?

i know how to use bulletin forums, but the "attach file" part doesnt show up for me! and it seems im not the only one...

Seems to work. Is the file you are trying to attach one of the approved extensions? {gif,jpg,jpeg,png,bmp,txt,doc,zip}

ok for the rest of us that dont have this option enabled this is what I had to do. 1st create a acount at a free photo upload site. I used http://members.villagephotos.com/ upload your photo to this site. I had to use jasco to bring the size down under 120k before it would upload. then get the url of the pic, it's explained at the site. copy the url and past it in bettween this img code http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/images2/vBulletin_logo.gif
Note that the http:// part of the image URL is required for the [img] code.
