So last night I went to turn on my PC . Windows loading bar then I get a blue screen . I try a Different HD with a different windows install blue screen again .

I pull one stick of ram System boots fine . swap sticks system doesnt boot @ all . grrr switch them back again system boots . I put both sticks in ( it makes it to the windows loading bar then blue screen again .
I boot into memtest . @ 200mhz 2.5-3-3-8 1t and I get errors .

I will be doing more testing tonight to make sure the stick is dead or dieing before I try and RMA it .

So what I want to know is what the RMA process ? What do I need ? Do i have to track down the invoice from when I bought it or is that not needed ( I hope not as Im on the other side of the country from where I bought it )

And then what are my options I don't know if you still have these sticks in stock or not . If you dont am I stuck getting non tccd based ram ? @ much slower timmings or do I get upgraded to good DDR2 ?

Set CAS = 2 and see how they run.

So try 200 at 2-3-3-8 and like about 220 at 2-3-3-8

DRAM Drive Strength at Level 7 (Normal 4 in 704-2BT bios)
DATA Drive at Level 2.

Yes, I know...just testing.

Regarding the RMA process, yes we do not have any TCCD ram anymore, we will have to work something out for the RMA.

oK 200 @ 2-3-3-8 Gives errors so does 230 @ 2-3-3-8

The system will not boot if I only have the one bad stick in the slots .

Ryder Thx for your help . I heard from them today
"We will be replacing your memory with an OCZ5002048EBPE-K Dual Channel 2GB Kit rated for CL3-2-3 timings at DDR500 speeds"

Ne Idea how far these chips will go ?

About DDR500 ;)

The DDR1 IC market is not as strong as it was a year ago, I can't say if anything DDR1 will perform above spec's at this time.
