I Think the fastest 68k ever produced was a 66mhz version.

The IIfx and Quadra 840AV both topped out at 40MHz (68030 and 68040 respectively). I remember using both of them back in the day, and wishing I could clock chip them higher - they weren't mine so I never tried. I did manage to clock chip my Duo 230 to 40MHz (from 33MHz) though!

No one had 1 on 3 ghz maybe 80 mhz.

If you want to get a feel for what it would be like, you can run an emulator on a recent machine, with speed limits turned off.

Well i poses atari 1040 with hadrware mods
Workin 68k on 8 mhz.
I know abaut emulators but aint that fun as real think :)
