if you're willing to give dfi another go, their new p965-s is promising to be nothing short of spectacular. ewiz has them in stock already

More stable than any 680i out there...or wait for Non-reference 680i LT.

Depends on what chip you intend to use.
If your on a budget the Gigabyte S3/DS3, DFI P965-S, Asus P5N-E are good boards to pair up with a 4300,6300,6400.
I ending up purchasing the Infinity P965-S.
I would stay away from 680i, too many negitive threads.

thats true but there are allso those people who enjoy insane clocks and good stability.. like me :D
... but personally if i were you @ awhir i would get my hands on the DFI P965-S, allways liked DFI boards and from what i have heard the new DFI P965-S will kick ass... but wait for the reviews.

not yet but if anyone wants to buy a 420 early, http://www.shopblt.com/cgi-bin/shop/shop.cgi?action=thispage&thispage=0110030005019_BL93754P.shtml&order_id=!ORDERID! has them at a decent price.
either way though, at the same multxfsb, they'll perform identically. it's just a question of limits, and their averages.
