So i got the new 8800GTX today :) i didnt want to wait so i plugged it into my work pc... here are the results :banana: :clap:
AMD 3000+ 1.8GHz
2x512Mb + 256Mb PC3200
GF8800GTX 768Mb
350W Antec

Are you sure that the card doens't underclock due to the lack of enough power? 350W sound horribly low.
Celeron 1.7Ghz with 128KB cache on our favorite asus dothan pci-e board will beat this easily :D BTW, 18K is what I get on my T5500 laptop with ati 1600 :)

Nice! I did the same thing on my pc at work. My 8800gtx in a Celeron something in it. I didnt do any tests, but it seemed faster than whatever was in there. I was able to play 2142, load times were terrible though! Of course once I got it home all was better :)

You should've been hit by lightning while putting the 8800 in that system...twice maybe.
