As many of us know, PCMark2004 has become an aged benchmark application. It’s no longer being supported by futuremark, it does not run on most modern platforms, and has been replaced by PCMark 2005.

In order to keep competition fair, we will disable hwboints for submitted PCmark04 results. You can still submit PCMark04 scores and browse the hall of fame, it will just not affect your hwboint score.

I know some of you guys will be pissed, but I hope many more will be relieved.

just had a nice session yesterday and got #2 Intel Pentium 3 933Mhz in PCMark 2004 with 1486 marks and today I saw no points for it anymore :(
Well I will survive it, the nice cup remains

Good move Fredrik, PCM04 issues on running on anything dual core make it too frustrating to be used as a benchmark, especially when we got 05.

Yep, had to use tricks to run it and it wouldn't always run, wouldn't run at faster 3d/SP benchable speed and even if run sometimes produce lower scores

Was the Dual Core Problem only on the Intel side? Because I got good scores on AMD Dual Cores. "I mean I did"
