Hi there,
I have a set of HZ 8000 & the spreaders have started peeling away from the memory at each end of the sticks!!! I thinks it due to heat over time!!! & I get errors at DDR1000 at the start & end of the first stick & errors at the end of the second! They test fine at DDR900 2.00V but at DDR1000 2.25V as the stick are rated for I get 20 errors a pass! But if I put a 100CFM 120mm fan over them the errors dissapear, I normally run 2 25CFM 80mm fans for piece & quiet!

My question is will G.Skill give me permission to remove the spreaders & reapply them with better thermal pads so they stay in place!
