I was planning to get Yate loons D12SL-12, but now I am not quite sure if the CFM is enough for my PA120.2

I read panaflo can run at low speed also and make the same noise as loons, so I just turn them up (I must buy a fan controller for this as well :( ) when I need them?

Anyhow, I read alot of crap in fan specs so I dont know what to belive. I just need good fans :)

Any ideas?

ps: You think if I use 4 fans on PA120.2 push pull will help it? or extra noise without result?

2 yates on the 120.2 will work well, it is tuned to work fine with low airflow

from what i have heard people here really love Yate loon fans, and like Treese said thermochill rads are designed to work with low airflow. a fan controller is not a bad idea makes life a bit more easy.

Study "Fan Laws" like everthing else ,there's a law thats tells you what to due.

Basic fan law: http://www.delhi-industries.com/Engineering/Tips/FanLaws.asp

Fan law calculator: http://www.freecalc.com/fansfram.htm

Just search Fan law(s) forall kinds of info to study

What do you think of the idea of putting 4 fans on a PA 120.2 btw?

2 each side.

2 each side.

Marginal improvement at best.

I'm looking for led fans for use with a pa120.3 or mcr320. Is this possible? I know yates makes some but they are even lower cfm than the SL.

Can anyone recommend some? There are none in the comparison.
Thanks

I wish it was that easy. I checked several search engines and only crazy pc has them, and non-led. Any other recommendations?
Thanks

If money and extreme noise (on 100%) then some quality Panaflo or Delta's would be fine...

If you are cheap and looking for the best performance for the $$, Yates are the undisputed champions...

ANd remember.. once you hit ambient temps, no matter how high you crank the fans, you will not lower temps....

I had the same question a while back.

After a lot of researching across many forums and websites, it seems as if Coolermaster's LED fans were the best in terms of CFM/noise. You can dial them down without worrying about weird noises/whining. I have a UFO case and mounted 7 of those LED fans on fan slots that face the exterior (3 on PA120.3, 1 intake, 2 on MCR-220, and 1 exhaust). I used a push/pull on both of my radiators and used scythe sflex sf12f fans on interior fans on the radiators.
