I will ask Alex tomorrow.
You can come and help if you'd like.
We can use all the help we can get.
Even a small line can add in a couple hundred thou a day and a 3mbit cable can do a mil easy..

Is your cable package unlimited downloads? Also, how strictly do they enforce a FUP? If there is one?

Im on a 8mbit DSL connection, unlimited and FUP'd. However, Ive never been warned or even hinted at. Downloaded over 1TB one month and they said nowt.

1million URLs is approx 10-15gb per day. As Movieman said to me, every little helps, whether its 1000 or 10mill!

My PC is finally starting to show signs of death....yesterday my cmos went back to default at a restart, after almost a year of uptime.

MJ12 showed a uptime of 2400 days when i entered it.....mehhh

But one can't complain about a 5 years, almost 24/7 PC - with only one HDD replaced - starting to say...."i'm tired, please let me die" :D

So, you'll have to excuse my output, as it might disappear very soon. Certainly, the output will be low, as it is acting up.

I can't afford a new setup at the moment, and i don't know when......but, else...it's been fun guys. :yepp: :D

MJ12 can take a LOT of memory and a few points of cpu power especially when running the compression part of the program.
I've seen it pull as much as 225MB at times.
I've got at least 2 gig on all machines except one and thats a single core with one gig so thats fine.

I noticed a couple 500,000 + pr hour, from his line...:kissbutt: :hehe:

I cant crunch anywhere near that :( Im on a 24mbit ADSL2+ line as well, but due to my line length I can only get approx 8-9mbit.

Really good going all!

1.1billion behind Free-DC now too.

MJ12 can take a LOT of memory and a few points of cpu power especially when running the compression part of the program.
I've seen it pull as much as 225MB at times.
I've got at least 2 gig on all machines except one and thats a single core with one gig so thats fine.
Yea, noticed that..I may have to settle for #2 on the team once he gets rolling but thats fine with me..

Your not top today either! Grizzly pulled in some cavalry I think.

Ive got some spare hardware kicking about at the moment too. Might build an open rig with my 3500 Winnie and see if I can get more crunch power.

Max I ever noticed was 446K for an hour so he is flying.
Will be interesting to see what he does at the end of the day!

400K x 24 = 9.6mill

Be a nice run if he pulls 10mill a day average :)

But 500,000 is 12 mill per day  :D let's see....

I know movieman ( Dave ), meant his own, when he mentioned the highest was 440k per hour, he had noticed.

Ah, guess I misunderstood :) Just hoping my 2mill or so a day is enough to keep us top!

Defo gonna work on that 3rd rig tonight.. some hardware I have is a bit.... temperamental so itll be unstable lol.

Doesn't matter to me where I am in the dailies as long as Xs is #1:up:
I can max at app 8.4 mil a day unless I want to shut down the house acess to the net and then I can just touch 10 mil with 3 machines but the kvetching I hear isn't worth it..

Your not far behind refic either. Your a crunching machine!

Yeah my Dad complains when Im crawling/downloading about how slow the net is. Luckily he rarely uses it and I pay for the line anyway :D

Yea, I made up my mind a while back that I was going to run down both carl and refic no matter how long it took.
They both have better lines than I do I think but the question is are they as stubborn as I am?:D

That's the key..Patience and stubborness..
We take all we have, doesn't matter what any individual does, it's the total that count's..a big pot that we each help to fill..:D

Patience is definetly not one of my virtues! One must learn though.

Now, Im home, in my comfy chair... wheres that hardware?

*goes off to build a machine*

*comes back quickly*

Just realised I dont think I have a spare ethernet port on my router lol. So much for that idea.

Hehe Don't fret too much, both machines I've got running for the most part are non-stop but I do snooze them for an hour or two for some gaming and Usenet downloads in between. I figure 6.8 million a day but I may be off by a few thousand. I also got WCG/Boinc running in the background on both machines but set the priority for MJ12 to receive more cycles to prevent those pesky timeouts :shakes: And if everthing goes to plan, there even may be a third machine coming this December but it's not a solid "yes" yet :p:

I'be been known to snooze all on occasion myself..but not often..
Only when the old lady screams that she can't download her email..

Irish descent on my fathers side..One part of the family came over during the potato famine in the late 1800's..
The other side came on the Mayflower in 1620..
English, we don't brag on that part as much!

If the Balistix are D9's be careful on the voltage to them..Keep as low as possible but definately don't go over 2.0 or 2.1v tops for 24/7 work.
Lots of them die when the guys have them loaded at 2.2-2.3v..

You can tell how Irish your family is by the amount of times you have elderly members tell you, "Guinness is good for ya!" :toast2: :D
100% one side & 75% other, but my wife is 0%.
