Are there any good down to earth beginners guides? I've done quite a bit of searching but still came up empty handed :(
A guy is selling a 40x40 pelt that draws 3.7amps @ 12v, and I thought this might be an interesting item to pick up to mess with (he wants under 10 bucks with shipping and a small matching heatsink comes with it).
I was thinking this might be something I could use to throw in my northbrdige to expiriment with (although I would mess with elsewhere first). Is a 3.7amp pelt going to have any real power to it? At what point to I start worrying about condensation? Can something like this be powered from a normal PSU?
