Hi

I buy 2 x 512MB 5400UL from neweeg and

One stick is 5400UL v 1.5, but next stick is remarked 8000UL v 1.1 to 5400UL v 1.5

Problem is ..

Set 667MHz 3-3-2-8 ( label timings ) and 2.2V - efect no boot

This 2 x 512 kit not working with dual and anything more than 800MHz 4-4-4-12 :(

Here is a foto of one remarked stick.

That doesnt seem too kosher. Have you contacted Newegg about it?

If Im not mistaken, they would have to be a matched pair to be dual? And they are clearly not.

I would start here, see what YB says. (I dropped him a line about your post, so he should see it sometime today :).) and go from what he says, doesnt seem right that they are relabeled. I dont think thats normal, was that label damaged at the corner like it was peeled off by someone else previously?

OT: How the hell did you get Newegg to ship out of the US?

Can your retailer exchange the memory for you? Also, did you buy this memory as a TwinX kit or as 2 individual DIMMs?

I ask him for this question.

I buy it with 2 individual dimms.
