Looks good.

As I said in the other thread, keep in mind that not everyone has a big widescreen TFT or a fast connection.
So it would be nice if pics would be resized to 1024*768 (for example) and that the size of each file is a small as possible. There are enough programs which will allow you to resize pics to below 100 kB.

You have broken the forum rules! Do not post a picture that is over 1600 x 1200! :p:

As Jupiler said,

As usual, follow the general forum rules (if you post any pics, keep the size and resolution of the pics as small as possible. So no pics of 2Mb and 1600*1200, not everyone has a big widescreen TFT or a fast connection, let's keep that in mind).

I think 800 x 600 is best.

If you put *56K* in the title I think you can (post larger images).

You're right.
800x600 it is then.

I know, but we need to avoid that everyone is gonna post pics with resolutions like 2272x1704 and 5 megs in size. You'd need 2x24" widescreen tft's to look at the whole pic.
It will only slow down a specific topic.

800x600 is preferred, 1024x768 is max.

thunderstruck!

Exactly, 800x600 is just fine. We don't need a 5MP pic. What's the point if we need to scroll just to reach the other end of the pic? Most of us here use 1280x1024.

or tag posts with resolution sizes as a warning like
[1600x1200]Sunset over the lake
or something. Just a thought :)

800x600 is ok for most shots for forum viewing, but some you lose a lot of the effect if you go down that small.

i like 1280x1024. anything less is like soul said, you lose the effect of the picture.

I think images posted at 800x600 are fine on the forums. That's what I use for all my phase change work. It doesn't really loose quality, and the filesize is only a few hundred kb.

If people want the full size versions of certain pictures, they could allways be uploaded to another site and the download link posted in the threads.

if you MUST show people the full size shot, and can't just link it :D
