Hi Guys, I am posting here after posting on dyi-forums looking for any help I can get with my problem.

I am having trouble just finding stock stable settings for my board. It fails prime/orthos immediately with various errors such as

ERROR in iteration 85: f_ref[28]=0.000000, f[-1067285377]=-2.000000
StressCPU ran 0 minutes 0 seconds.
Any other problems I experience are failures at installing windows xp, and sometimes the machine will reset under failure (without blue screening)

Let me first start with my specs:
NF4 SLI-DR Expert (406 Bios)
Opteron 170 (CCBWE 0546 MPM)
Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego (KABYE 0535 RPMW)
Mushkin 2GB XP4000 Redline 3-3-2-8 (991493)
OCZ GameXStream 700w
Sapphire ATi Radeon X1650 Pro
3x Seagate 320 7200.10's doing Raid5 on the nVidia chipset

I have pretty guessed it HAS to be ram settings since both processors fail immediately when running prime. During my configuration tweaking I have made sure to clear the CMOS properly each time. After running memtest86 for close to 8 hours, and running 10 passes on tests 5 & 8 I can fairly sure the memory itself is fine.

I based my settings off of praz' settings (http://www.diy-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58514) here. No matter what settings I try I can't find the proper ones to run stable at stock speeds.

Thanks so much for your help. I am almost at the point where I will have to return the faulty board and look for something else. I really like this board and it's features, however it is getting rather frustrating :(

Thanks for your help!

You will need to run that mushkin at higher than standard voltage even with all other settings stock. At least that's been my experience...
Try a few runs of memtest or windows memory tester to verify.
