Has anyones crucial anniversary ram died yet? I was just wondering because I seen on a few forums that people arn't able to boot at stock timings and voltage but the overclock settings seem unchanged. Could this be a warning of the ram failing or am I just freaking out because my motherboard failed last week then my gpu this week.

I had one stick die on me a few weeks ago. Rma'd them and got back the 667 3-3-3-12 ballistix. Running them at the same setting at 10th anniversary sticks.

Crucial. They have a 800 number. Just go to crucial.com. Very good service. Took back my sticks no questions asked and I had the replacements in less than a week. Not sure why my one stick died. I was only running them at 2.1v.

EDIT: Here is the number. Toll-free for US & Canada: 800-336-8915

I also had 1 stick die on me as well. :(

They will send you their normal ballistix 667 as a replacement.

I have mine running at ddr2-1000 4-4-4-12 with 2.3 volts.

Same here, one stick started giving me errors but I was lucky because they replaced them with another set of 10th Anniversary sticks. Very good RMA service and like [XC] 4X4N says "no questions asked". They offer crossed-shipping but be prepared for full retail pricing, of course you'll get your money back afterwards.

Do you recommend me RMA with newegg or crucial? My ram can boot at stock but gets error after a few hours of memtest.

frst thing i would try is putting a fan over them. it might be heat related.

if that doesn't help, then RMA to crucial.

they are quick and you should have a new set within a week.

If you RMA them through Newegg you'll get a refund on what you paid for them at the time because they only exchange for the same product. If you RMA them through Crucial you will get the Crucial Ballistix DDR2-667 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146567)

Damn, not too sure but I would try to invest on a better PSU if I were you. To tell you the truth I think I'm going to sell mine and go after the Buffalo Firestix DDR2-800 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820150054). Good luck Homie!

Do you know how much they sell for now? I don't really need the high speed just 800.

The anniversary? they sell for $269.99 I believe at newegg.

If you don't want them and want something cheaper, I'd try to sell these and pick up the G.Skill 6400HZ's which are slightly under $200 at the egg right now.

Who? I would get the Buffalo Firestix DDR2-800, they easily run 800Mhz 4-4-4-4 @ 2.1vdimm. They are $159.99+S/H @ Newegg. LINK (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820150054)

Were you supposed to get another set of Crucial 10th Anniversary? Man that's a big mix up. Do you have to pay to ship it back?

They gave me a prepaid ground ups shipping and $5. I didn't use there shipping method because ground takes to long so I just used the $5 to ship via usps.

I was to get another set of 10th anniversary but the funny thing is they havn't had those instock for about a month.

They actually had them, momentarally but I think they sold out out. How much did you paid for them? You will get a full refund of the price you paid and I suggest you grab some of those Buffalo Firestix DDR2-1000 because those will more than sufice your needs. Can you san 800Mhz 3-3-3-x with 2.1-2.2vdimm....:toast:

Quick Review (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=135019&highlight=BUFFALO+Firestix+2GB) just in case you didn't see it.

Talked to a senior rep and he said I could get a advaned refund... WTF does that mean they lost my package and the refund isn't 100% until they find it? I got tracking and it says they got the package... Who knows, im waiting on a reply.

Mine no longer boot at stock settings. I have to use a different set, up the voltage and swap them. This becomes a total pain in the butt if you are constantly resetting BIOS.

I kinda wanna put the blame on ASUS from having bios with default VDIMM at 1.8V, they need special Bios. Thats all.
