Very simple design, with solid caps, passive cooling, support for next gen DDR3 memory, and a killer layout, although I'm not a fan of the pastel green PCI E slots...

Biostar's high-end DDR3-based Intel P35 chipset-based motherboard, the TP35-D3, has, we reckon, one of the best layouts of any partners'.(Hexus (http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=8144))

Aren't Molexes usually placed near the PCI-E slot? It's a much better position than some I've seen where the Molex is at the bottom of the mobo, behind all the PCI slots. Dunno why you'd need a Molex for ONE video card, though.

Come on, it's St. Patrick's Day! Everyone's gotta show some green. :D

Nice looking board, hope to see these P35's in the channel sooner rather than later.

How much is this board expected to cost on release?

I'd rather have SATA in the position of the IDE connector facing down as well. What is on the southbridge? Is that felt? Looks good otherwise.

Looks good, but when will the floppy die?!?! :) :) :)Why would you want the floppy to die? How will you create a boot disk if you want to "ghost" your C drive? Can any USB stick be used to create a boot disk? Why doesn't the mother boards have a dedicated USB port to take the place of the A drive?

when i'll see the system performance ddr2 vs ddr3,then i'll decide what i'm going to buy for my new system.
anyone knows if pci express 2.0 will bring extra performance or not?
would i stick to p35 or go to x38?

This board is not for enthusiasts.

And therefore any p965 board isn't for enthusiests? Don't think so. Even that 965 board that do are only electronically 4x on the second slot. Not everyone wants CF/SLI.

This board looks great. I miss my Biostar 965pt.

bottom of ram slots interferes with gpu so yes its a killer design - it might kill your gpu :p:
ram too close together to cool effectively...

and this is supposed to be one of the best? :/
