I was hopeing I could get some help on over clocking mainly in the way of cpu and memory in the uguru software i'm able to overclock the cpu to 216 mhz which is about 2.8 on turbo mode I think it will go higher as for the memory currently timing set at mother board default 1.85 volts newegg advertises voltage at 2.1 and timing set at 5-5-5-12-2t again advertised at 4-4-412-2t I have never overclocked before as this is my first pc build but for being my first build ever I think I done quite well as I did not have no problems building it and getting it to fire up 1st time and other than this build my other pc is a dell xps and as I found out after I bought it no chance of upgrading out side their pre defined limits and well chance of overclocking lets just say I will never again be locked out of something in my own home. while im at it I cant seem to find a place where my video card clock speed is displayed newegg again says it should be 570 core clock and 1460mhz memory clock.is it a good idea to run the 3hr system tune and if I do overclock do I have to adjust setting in all related ereas, like bios uguru and nvidias control panel performance settings? planning on helping son build a pc would like to teach him how overclocking stumped me on my first build so he just dont go in and just start changing any pc settings without knowing what your changing and why. thanks i'd owe whoever a big one.
