a good deal, EVP 2.4v = 2.52v, but what chip does it use??

EVP = 2.4V...not 2.52... +/- 5% is there for board fluctuations, etc.

If you set 2.5V in the bios you are breaking the warranty.

They use Micron.

I believe they use Micron D9GMH for this one, the Platinum Extreme Edition (CL 4-5-4-15) uses D9GKX. At least it has been my experience.

wouldnt 2.4v degrade memory over a time period of say .... 3 months ?? i mean 2.4v for 3 months can pretty much degrade ur RAM such that it cant even do 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1v ...

so if i set 2.4v and RAM do degrade i can RMA a new one? assuming u guys test it or something

thats why i only use 2.2v ... dont have courage to go above that
