I have never altered my FSB ratio. My friend is running a 478 P4 that has a decent OC on it and he has his FSB ratio set to 3:4. He told me that it is preferable under Intel to run this way and if you can get a 4:5 ratio it would be even more preferable. I am currently running a C2D 6300 @ 2.975 with Dominator 800 @ 850 4-4-4-12. My FSB ratio is 1:1. Would it be beneficial to me to change my FSB ratio and could I keep the same timings and frequencies if it is? I have heard this is an Intel thing. AMD is supposed to run at 1:1 all the time. It is best. A little more info would help a lot.
