This cant be normal?

Hi guys,

Just starting to get my parts in for my new build when I noticed my pump with petratechshop top looked like this:

This cant be normal, the hole for the exhaust port is .5mm below the bottom part of the port blocking flow I am sure. What do you guys think, did anyone check their pumps for this? I emailed petra customer service to see what they think. Probably a bad top.

I dont own a petra top but it seems fine to me...

I think it is bad, but I haven't ever seen that pump in person.

Check the pictures on Petras if you can.

They dont have any pics of the internal part of the ports. I think its defective how on earth can that be done on purpose with .5mm below the port causing slight restriction.

Perhaps its just like that so the bend from the impeller to the outlet isn't so steep.
