Question about stepping and revision

I have a core 2 duo e6600 a 6 stepping and b2 revision and what i seen those cpuz reached 5 ghz.And i am stuck at 3.2 356 fsb at 1.485 vcore. I tried everything but i dont know what is wrong i really need help to overclock this thing.

your not gonna hit 5 ghz on a CPU without a ton of cooling.

in the case of the E6600... 3.2 to 3.6 ghz is the common range.
3.8 ghz to 4 ghz, happens occassionally but not often on air.
