Hi,
I just ordered this ram from memoryc.com :
http://www.memory-configurator.com/products/description/2Gb_OCZ_DDR2_PC2_8000_1000MHz_Platinum_EL_XTC_Dual _Channel_kit/index.html

I was under the impression that the above product carried a D9GKX chip but a fellow forumer told me that newer batches of these sticks carry D9GMH instead. :slap: Can you guys in here shine a little light on this?

My information says that it's the Micron D chips, but it doesn't specify anything more than that.

Sorry, that's all I know.

I have two sets, one from June '06 and one from about three weeks ago. I know the first set is GMH for sure. Dont knoe for sure on the second set.

My $0.02 ;)

^Does that mean that OCZ2P10002GK produced after june 2006 have begun to be replaced with D9GMH? Hmm.. then http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/ is pretty outdated. Is there a newer such list?

never take the ram list literally , r00n knows that the PC8000 platinum uses GMH but he might forgot to add it

Ok, I've just received my ram (this is my first premium ram purchase for me, btw, if u can't tell) and I've got some information on my ocz 1000 cl5 kit. It says that it is week 01, 2006 on the sticker. Is that any good?
