There is no prize, there is no glory, there is only shame in this contest. I just added a dual PII @ 400MHz box to the GaTechRPMI subteam, does anyone have anything slower than me? Boxes must be actively crunching, let's hear what ancient pieces you guys have crunching.
Every MHz counts, especially when you aren't paying for power :fact:

I have an old 286/12 on my wall and it still works. Heatsink: aluminium plate 2x2 cm, no fins :D

mAN YOU MUST THINK YOUR LEET COOLING ROCKS. My 486/75 came with no fan! But it got quite hot all the same.

The old 486sx 25/33 could be run without a heatsink from what I remember, they used to get quite warm, I think you could do the same with the DXs as well. Just the ceramic top.

Well mine had just a small coppery heatsink on it.

I might dust out my Pentium Pro, just so it can be one of only 9 PPro's actively running FaH at the moment :D I wanted a Pentium Pro so much when I was running a Cyrix.

I've got an Amiga 1000 (8mhz 68000 motorolla cpu) in the garage that still works; even has an 80mb HD. No BOINC for AmigaOS but I do have SAS/C compiler.
