Newegg has a great deal on this memory but I can find very little information on its performance.Does anyone have any experience working with it?

Hi, you should do well with that memory as long as you can give it the required 2.2v - 2.4v.

It's a good time to buy.

Thanks

I just bought my set last night. Can't wait to get my rig built and try them out.

The chips are d9gmh. I have a very limited sample consisting of only a pair of buffalo firestix 6400 and a pair of these 8800's. Both use d9gmh. From just these two, I've found the buffalo's to do better in terms of tighter latencies at lower clocks than the 8800's. However, the 8800's scale higher in bandwidth. I can't conclude on anything though since there's a lot of variation within even the same type of ram but just different sticks. Either way, these are good sticks and a great deal. And they're warrantied up to higher vdimm's than the buffalos, which is great.

Good to hear they are clocking well for you.
