I'm running Orthos on my E4300 running at just 220x9. The CPU only test seems to run for hours just fine, but the blended or RAM tests fail after 5 seconds. The thing is, my ram is underclocked to 368 and it passes the test just fine at 400 when I'm running 200x9. Running memory test in bios at 200x9 finishes just fine, but orthos throws a fit in 5 seconds. Any ideas on why?

Edit: the test passes just fine with 215x9 and memory running at 358, but going up to 220x9 and 366 it fails.

CPU test - no errors
Blend - errors in 5s
Ram test in BIOS - no errors

My guess is it is your unstable northbridge =)
Give it a bit more volts and see if it passes this time.

Oh. would be useful if you give details of your specs

E4300
BIOSTAR 965pt
2x1gb ddr2 800 ocz platinum, running it at 5-5-5-15
x1950pro
zippy 600w

The cooler on the northbridge is godawful so I'll probably look into getting a replacement before I start cranking up the voltage much on it. Everything is on stock cooling. I'll give it one step up on volts and see if that works. Thanks for the idea though, I had no idea what it could have meant.
