This morning I fired up my newly vmodded Gainward :)
I was kind of impatient to do some benching, so I didnt test for the max GPU/optimal voltage. At 1.90 GPU it ran 391 smoothly so I thought i'd stick with that :D

Later I noticed that at least nature and car test will run at 398 also at 1.94V (locked up immediately at 1.90). Maybe if I pump it to 1.96 it'll run all tests at 398, getting me some more points should I need them ;)
I had never really done the 'unlimited' bench, but since macci's one was rather old, I smelled my chance for glory... obviously, macci is going to take my score down within the day, but I've had this moment ;)

also at the same 391/796 , but with my CPU speed a bit lower cos I didnt feel like getting bumped back to the desktop. its a rather "safe" run
I can slightly improve on both of these scores, but I think 16.000 default is just out of reach :( If I can run drago at 398 I think it might be possible tho ... i'll keep on benching :)

JC..can't you fix a waterblock for your memory? or is your card allready very cold cause of the 172Watt pelt on the GPU? Never worked with a 172Watt pelt on the GPU before....

OK JC time to start benching again:D I gave you some competion my friend.
Excellent Overclock on your card BTW, I've never been able to do 411 like that, even with my best card, the one that did 405 all day.
Get back to work JC and I'll see you at 16000:D

I just went to put some water in the freezer my friend :D
Back to benching in the morning. I know my f***** TH7-II is not going to let my FSB any higher so i'm going to have to put work into my GPU speed. Nature and car will run at 398, but its hard getting it through dragothic ;)
My runs were at 391 like you by the way... my card is getting kinda warm at the backside with the extra voltage even with frozen water and the pelt :( with serious chilling this card would fly past 400 GPU...

DAMNIT I should have gotten 16.007 :(
That is, if my car test hadnt decided to make a bad run at only 247 low :( should be 251 normally... argh
Guess I'll try again tomorrow :(
for the record , GF4 was clocked to 398/796 (810 nature) for the occasion, not without some trouble... definately cant squeeze more GPU out of it.
OPP, you'll prolly be first at 16K but I wont be far behind :)

The belgian weather has had a swing from 30C to 20C temperatures, it helps a bit ... very little though, the prometheia doesnt really seem to suffer from high ambient temps.
Those 23 points are achievable ... but when I manage to put it on 16.000 marks, I will have squeezed everything there was left to squeeze out of my system :( And I aint got money to upgrade .
This TH7-II is a very fast board but extremely bad in CPU overclocking. On an IT7 my CPU went to 3.3G easy as hell. On this board, its barely 3.2G. .. still, I guess 16.000 marks will stay "on par" a while

Hey guys why dont you get Freezer sprey its in a 400ml can and it drops the temp down to -50°C. I ahve a 200ml bottle and it works great, just freeze the RAM and start benchin.
Its cheap, it can be found in a local Electronics store, It doesnt conduct electricity and so on..... no mess no fuss maybe a litle cheating:p

You can spray anything except yourself:D I did that and I will not do it again.... from now on I do it on bugs, some of them come back to life when they de-frost:eek:
