I bought this RAM and put it in my Intel D975XBX2 motherboard. Only one stick of the RAM was detected in the BIOS. From what I've seen on the Internet this seems to be a common problem with the 975 motherboards. How can I get the other stick to be detected? I'm going to try updating my BIOS and moving the sticks around. If that doesn't work, does that mean one of the sticks is dead? Thank you.
By the way, if my motherboard, by default, doesn't give enough voltage to this RAM (that is, less that 1.9 V), could this be the reason for why the second stick of RAM is not detected?
