Is the AquaXtreme MP-05 still a good block to get?

For IHS'less and single die processors, then yes, it is still worth it.

As it's jet impingement system direct onto the biggest heat displacement means best cooling.

It is still a "good" block, the fuzion and apogee gt just beats it.

But with it being priced higher than both the fuzion and gt (at least in the UK anyway) and with it being quite restrictive why would you buy it over a fuzion or gt unless you have a good 2nd hand price!

Don't be so sure, I have seen the MOST reliable data showing otherwise... that is all I can say on the subject.

I have an MP-05 SP LE and it did as good a job on my P4d 945 as does my Fuzion. In my opinion the MP-05 is a top quality block with a substantial surface area for dual die IHS CPU. The only real advantage that I can see over the MP-05 is there will be less maintenance involved with the Fuzion.

When might you be able to share said reliable data? :) I'm wondering if it would be worth it to replace my MP-05 SP LE with either the Fuzion or Apogee GT.

I would say the Fuzion is better seeing as it is $10 cheaper than the MP-05 SP LE. My 2 cents.
