Are the damper wires really a problem? are they really noticable?? I need to know if this should hender me buying a 21" dell/sony trinitron monitor!

I dont mind them at all and never see them. I know they are there and I can find them if I look hard. Sony trinitrons are the best, you will love it.

I use a Sony monitor

My Iiyama with the Diamondtron tube also has them but I dont even recognize them.

they are most visable when most of the screen is white or a very light color(JBELL, where is that dark skin for the forum?!).

anyway, i never really notice them.

Yeah, they are the best monitors, you won't really notice the gray lines.

i totaly agree they dothered me for all of two seconds.

yeah, once you get used to them, you do not really notice, and they only show up when the screen is light. Its a fine tradeoff because of the excellent quality of the picture.

Ok, well i ended up ordering this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2730899868&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:US:6 it was $333 with shipping and everything. The main reason i got this one is because of the 3 Year Warranty, i didnt want a monitor with only a 30 day warranty or some crap. Plus its black.. will match my tower now. What do you guys think.. i know it wasnt the best deal, but i didnt get totally ripped did I? Thanks
