---stock fans(2x120mm and a third coming, planning to install the popular scythe infinity using the forum guides(they rock) but first a few questions

1. will the scythe infinity fit in this case with this mobo?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811146025

2. assume i have no money for replacement parts and put yourself in my situation, how would you overclock this setup? i really want to OC my cpu, everything else is second (safety is important, i REAALLLY dont want to set my cpu on fire, and first assume i am using stock cooling then suggest more if i do get the scythe infinity)

(NOTE: i am new to OCing, and if i say something stupid forgive me :P)

my 3dmark06 score is 8111 and i am unsatisfied with this......

thank you

As far as the overclocking goes looking to the sticky is all you need:

if i want to hit say.. 2.8 gigs with my e6400 and my ram is ddr2 800, should i do the 1:1 fsb to ram ratio thing and tone down the multiplier to 7? or should i keep the multiplier of 8 and just do the 350MHz FSB keeping the 400 MHz ram speed?

No, haven't tried it myself, but neither the case or the mobo are unusual formats/sizes, so you shouldn't have any problems.

Higher FSB increases overall system performance. So drop the multiplier and go for 400 FSB.
