Hello. I am building my first Intel Core 2 Duo rig. I was looking at getting OCZ2P8001GK (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820227126)
But I am worried about the voltage requirements of the ram. Since I don't have any other DDr2 sticks lying around I won't be able to enter the bios to change the voltage setting if, as many users have posted on the newegg reviews, the system doesn't boot.

So my question boils down to, will it work? Or will it at least work with one stick in just to be able to access the BIOS and feed the mems the proper juice.

get yourself a cheap stick of 256 that you can keep around just in case.
