View Full Version : Any obstacles to putting a 5340 (Cloverton) into a MacPro?

Does the PSU have enough juice to power these things? Is the MacPro cooling sufficient for this application? If no, would most any aftermarket cooling/PSU solutions work with a MacPro?

Thoughts, opinions, experiences?

You should be fine....you'll need a very long Torx-15 (or maybe it was -20) screwdriver though for the cooling, might be your biggest obstacle.
