Hi guys, im planning on buying some new stuff in a couple of weeks, I am planning on using the intel e4300 CPU, but since I have been out of the overclocking community for over a year I dont really know what memory or MB to use. I am going to use aircooling (most likely)

So please, tell me what motherboard and memory to buy to match the CPU

Price for MB: Max 200 USD

Price for Memory: Max 300 USD

Someone else who is an expert might want to chime in, but I know the fatbody's are pretty good right now and all DDR2 prices are falling across the board, but to start out, here's some decently priced performance ram:

OCZ Platinum's PC2-6400 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=85264)

As for the motherboard, I'd like to know myself, everyone talks about the Badaxes and the Nvidia 650 + 680, they seem to OC well, and could meet the budget..maybe not a 680sli striker though, =P

Supertalent $127 2gb ram - someone bought this ram and here is what they got:

Tested Stable DDR-800 2.1V 4-4-4-12

Currently 2 hours memtest stable
DDR-870 1.9V 5-5-5-15

Plenty for what you are looking for. You could do up to 3.6ghZ with an e4300 running 4-4-4-12 or with an e6400 running 5-5-5-15...just need a good air cooler though, and the gigabyte s3 would be you cheapest way to get there...
