MCP355 owners, please help!

guys, I have a small problem. this pump has a RPM measurement connector, well that connector fell off of my pump. and I put it back like this:

now, my question is, did I put the connector back on the right pin? or is it the other one? please post a picture of your connector if you can, thnx.
I need it so I can plug it in the CPU fan header to check the pump if it fails...

well....have you already tried to see if it reads ?, that would certainly answer your question, an if it doents just try it on the other side,

but i am looking an its mounted on the top pin,.w

well, I didn't, because I don't want sth to go wrong (I know that's stupid but), what do you mean 'top pin', is it this one on the picture or the other one?

Maurader16 you did right by asking, guessing at electronics can ruin a controller board if your wrong

Do you have any 3 pin fans with RPM sensor wire? If so, compare it to one of those, the yellow wire is the RPM sensor wire.

Looks to me it is in the right slot if memory serves, but double-check.

thnx guys, just remembered I had one fan on the 3-pin converter to molex and the only pin that is without a wire is that exact pin, thanks everyone again ;)
