hey guys, i wanted to ask something >> i have read this guide ( http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=54331 )

about cleaning the rads before use and i applied that to my BIX, but i have just poured some de-ionized water through the thermochill and no bits or horrible coloured water is coming out the other side. my question is then, do i really need to pour loads of vinegar into this one? is it worth giving it a good clean?

i am not trying to get out of it by all means, i just want to know if it "needs" to be done?

cheers guys

I pretty sure that if you avoid cleaning your rad then you will eventually get deposits in your tubing, waterblocks, etc. AFAIK not cleaning your rad won't stop you from watercooling but it might give you problems later on (especially if you have a jet impingement block like the Storm).

Anyway keep an eye on this thread (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=132182), I'm hoping we'll decide once and for all on the best rad cleaning recipe. :)
