Just forwarding a word along from an old pal.
"By the end of this week XS Will be in the Front Page.

Tell the guys there is an old Puerto Rican Vrying of Joy"

I think Vrying might mean crying but hey, it is the thought that counts :p: Tried to reproduce the email as accurate as possible, the gifs were a bit troublesome though :stick:

We're #11 at the Vault, and the Top Ten are on the Front Page. He's predicting we will top Crunchers Inc. (vaio's team) by the week's end.

This has nothing to do with you or anyone else njkid32, Jose is simply congratulating the DC-Vaulters for our achievement. Number 10 will fall within 100 hours ;)
1200 points to go

We are moving up fast in pi segment, and have been gaining steadily in the vault, but we could sure use some more help. Staying in the top ten will be a big challenge.

Way to go Mike. You passed me today like I was going backwards. :toast:

I jumped on Pi with my 2.8 p4 and EoN with my 3.3ghz E6600.

Will do guys, he will appreciate it. I have confidence we can maintain top 10 once we get top 10, look how much ground we have covered in the last 2 months.

Dragon, are you running both cores of your e6600 on eon? I'm thinking of running it also, but I've been told that it will sometimes run out of work with a dual core.

I'm running two instances, but I keep getting "ZZZZZ"s (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10864)

We are going to be losing some points as well today though. We lose 1st in QMC today-ish. Planet3d have about 100k to go. Not alot but its a still a loss of points.

Finally the top 10. To think a year ago we were 110th....lol:toast:

Shows what a small(ish) assault force can do by hitting projects. Now begins the long hard slog to top 5.......

Well done XS DC !!!

If EoN would quit giving me zzzzzzs, I'd be a happy camper with that project. But the Pi Segment project is having fun my my two conroes.

We will get points from ABC as we gained a place. Pi Segment will go up in about 4+/- days when we get #3 in the project:)

I'm running both Euler and OGR-25 on my E6600. That will run over the weekend, as I'll be away in Indiana, so we'll see how those go come tuesday.

Euler's kinda funny with the scoring. It seems the longer it takes (seconds) the more points awarded. Most odd ranges take around 500,000 seconds when running one instance on a DX rig. Even ranges take just a couple minutes. Math, go figure.

LOL, made myself laugh at the unintentional double entendre.

I had a few go 500,000 seconds then the next one 100 seconds.

Yeah, that's the odd value WU [_3,_5,_7,..] followed by the even WU.
