It seems this memory is supposed to run at 4 4 4 15 at 400 fsb on my P5B-E. It won't and it won't on my DS3 either

I have to run at

CAS 5
RAS to CAS 6
RAS Precharge 6
cycle time 18

for my system to be orthos stable

I'm running E6400's

My Corsair PC6400C4 runs fine at 4 4 4 12 on either board

I've tried from 1.9 to 2.1 volts

What's up with this??

I think the Corsair is using Promos chips

rev 2 is also using proMOS.
I can do over 1000mhz cas5 on the AB9 pro (2.2v), but max stable on the p5b was only 960 on 5-6-6-18.
If you can only run that timings @800mhz then you should RMA your RAM.
Just ask RyderOCZ ;), he probably knows what to do.

It pays to pay attention.

I've now posted over on OCZ's support forum

Set the Write to Precharge to 11 or 12.

OCZ Rev 2 is using PSC, not Promos.

PSC, did they always use PSC, or only the newer batch?
Everyone was talking rev 2 had Promos

No, they didn't always use PSC, but they do now :)

how do these sticks do with N650i chipset??
and how are PSC IC's compared to Promos, do they really clock that much worse
