So in your opinions, what is the best option to get a nice red for the coolant? I'd get red tubing, but if i'm paying $2 for tubing, them i'm going to buy Tygon. I know Pentosin comes in red, but IIRC in the concentrations we're using, its more pink. Anyone know of a nice deep(er) red? I'm thinking about ordering a few different brands, and seeing which is the best for my application :p:

Will you really be able to get a high enough concentration red before it starts to contribute sediment to your pump/blocks/rad?

Petra's sells red "special" liquid (or something like that) that has a nicer color than the pink pentosin. With a 10% mix the special stuff is not really a deep red but more of a peach/salmon color. Sorry, no pictures, but his site has them.

Alright i'll check it out.

But yea Matt, i'm thinking the same thing. In the concentrations it'd take to keep from being a pinkish shade you'd probably have issues. I may go with light blue, simply because its so much damn easier to get :p:

Do not get fluid xp extreme. It has crappy performance... if you want, get PC Ice, at least its 10 dollars cheaper (but still 20) and gets 2C better or something:D

I'd personally reccommend getting Zerex for the water additive and use the UV dye from dangerden. It's pretty good. I use the green UV and zerex myself.

10:1 distilled water to Pentosin (or any of the blue VW/Audi/BMW rad coolants) looks cool, lubricates well, and keeps cooties out.
