I can't afford a 2.4C:( So I have decided on the 2.4B SL6RZ which will give me around a 1Ghz Overclock on air and one of the Springdale or Canterwood boards that are out now.

I have it down to 3 Choices:

2100/NF7

2.4/IS7

2.4/IC7

The rest of my specs are in my sig, all suggestions are welcomed and appreciated:toast:

id say buy the amd system, first of all to support amd and secure a good competition between amd and intel and thereby secure good prices. second because you dont need the little extra performence an intel rig might give you, and third of all you save some money you can spend on something more usefull then a system that give you 15-20fps more you dont need :)

Look at DJ's system....18k on a TI4200 @ 300/700....i think intel is starting to speak for itself....

im getting almost 14K with an xp1700+@11x200 and a 4200@300/600 ...no mods!

im sure i could get 16K+ with some vmodding and extra cooling, and thats with a 50$ cpu and a 90$ mainboard... ;)

and if ill do it, ill do it for fun, my system is fast enough to play any game wo any probs...

I don't know why it's so sad. You want competition between AMD and Intel and by people like him and myself going from AMD to Intel, it will hit AMD where it hurts most. The pocket. This is what will get them off their ass to put out the products we want. AMD is not going anywhere like some will try to have you believe. They will be around for some time to come.

I still love AMD but thought it was time to try Intel again myself. Haven't run Intel since my p3 450. Have felt no need too, but I did now.
