I noticed that there's a reading in the bios for the chipset temp in DFI nF4-D. What is the safe temp range for the chip?

Peronally I get nervous when it exceeds 50C although I understand that it can take higher temps with no bad effects. I put fan over area and it keeps temps in mid 40's when overclocking.

Yeah, I can vouch for that. Possibly ain't the smartest thing to do, but I got the DFI heatsink still on it with the fan not spinning. Anywhere from 60c-70c.
I really need to get it replaced.
