hi there
if there's some hardware out, some people are able to make a voltmodding guide. they need the scheme of the PCB to figure out how they can adjust the voltage, but where do they get those schemes?

with other words, how can I figure out a vmod myself?

People rarely have a circuit diagram.

Luckily with a multimeter and some time you can find the Vreg for what you want to mod, use google to find the PDF and then work out the mod. Most of the time there fairly simple to work out.

What are you trying to mod?

with a multimeter, how do they do that then?

I ask this because I want to find out myself how stuff can be voltmodded :)
e.g.: I've got some old hardware here (like a tnt2 m64) and I want to vmod it, where should I start then?

about that tnt2: the core voltage is determined by the I/O voltage, but I've never heard of a mem vmod. so, I want to check out if any of the chips on the PCB might be used for upping the voltage!
