I was about to search for "L11" and got the message that the minimum word length is 4, could this limitation be lowered to 3 or maybe even 2?, not shure how much extra load this would put on the server but now it limits your search options conciderable.
The option "Search all open forums" could be removed if the server is a resticting factor. I saw that you have quite a few sub-catagories, If decided to remove "search all" they should be divided into 2-3 groups a the highest level when performing a search; Hardware/Software/ stuff..
I don't think any of above would change server-load very much, maybe word length should be kept >2 though.
