Right I got a multimeter, one question do I take the readings while the pc is on? and I take it the black wire goes to the ground of the case?

Also with the Rad9700Pro vGPU mod with the 10k pot what do I set it to as a starting point?

All aircooled btw with stock cooler reapplyed with AS3.

Dunno if I want to do any mem vmods yet as I get 360mhz on the mem at stock and I dont want to kill anything;)

Paul.

Well, looks like you're ready. That multimeter should do the job just fine. One of our mod gurus should be along by this evening to help out, but I would want to suggest that you consider replacing the stock cooler with something a little beefier to handle the new loads. Enjoy:)

Well I might stick a beefier fan on it for now and get a better hsf at the weekend, what do you guys reccomend?

edit: now got a standard YStech 80mm fan directly on the heatsink, the rear of the card is now cool to touch instead of hot like before so I think Im ready to volt mod. I have the 10K pot here but I want to know what value to set it to, is it the lower the resistance the higher the voltage, so 1K would be a little more than stock, 10K would be dead card :D ?

Just done it chaps, its at 8K now so thats about 1.6 on the core, it was fine at 380 before, i'm just running it at 400 now :) No artifacts or anything yet :)

well since u done it than u know what value to use but i think u got the resistence messed up. 10k is a safe card and 1k is a dead card. The lower the resistence the more volts hit that bad boy.

Yeah I realised that after looking at some guides and various forum posts. :)
